Further to my telephone calls of last week, I am more than delighted to find that the bed you made for my Mother so many years ago is still in tip top working condition.
Since her death in 2004, the bed has just been used as a spare and the mechanism not used at all. I quite thought it would have seized up, now it is in full use again as I am unable to get in and out of bed unaided myself.

We are encouraged to use our local shops in order to help keep the town centre alive and thriving.
Apart from meeting our needs, much depends on the level of pleasant, helpful service provided by the staff involved.
Over the years, I have been a fairly frequent customer of The Bed Shop and always received patient, cooperative attention in supplying and swapping mattresses to try and meet my sometimes troublesome needs.
Most recently they went the extra mile to help me out of a rather desperate situation. Due to the after-effects of a recent spinal fracture, the latest mattress I had from them was proving uncomfortable so I purchased one from a different supplier which promised the right kind of support for a dodgy back and fragile, brittle bones.
Disaster! I thought I was lying on a plank!
A frantic visit to The Bed Shop and a blissfully confortable new mattress was delivered on the very same day.
The young man who pulled the strings to make it all happen was certainly in my prayers that night.
The best of service, with a smile!

The guys had to take out a window and climb over the roof to get my children’s 2 new single beds into our loft room.

I contacted the Bed shop after a 12 year absence wanting to replace our two mattresses which have given us many years of blissful sleeps.
We purchased them in 2011, visiting the New Milton shop from our home in Fleet.
I wasn’t sure how to go about replacing them given that we are now living in the Lake District. I need not have worried. The Bed Shop looked up our details (from our defunct address), recommended a replacement to the newer model, and hey presto! two new mattresses arrived by courier a few days later. Only problem disposing of masses of cardboard and wrapping that came with them. But I guess that’s what husbands are for!
Our blissful sleeps have started again. Wonderful Service.
